Laura is a founder of the Halifax International Security Forum helping to build the annual event and organization from its inception. She previously managed the annual Forum from 2009-2015 and then served as Managing Director from 2019-2023.
Laura currently serves as the Senior Advisor for Partnerships overseeing HFX’s fundraising efforts.
Laura is an expert consultant on nonprofit and museum fundraising, nonprofit boards, and volunteering. She previously served in senior roles at the Petersen Automotive Museum, World Affairs Council of Los Angeles, and the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Laura currently serves as the treasurer of The District Cup Foundation and is a member of the Continental Collective.

Laura holds an MA from King’s College London and a BA from George Washington University. Laura is based in Bentonville, Arkansas, while spending lots of time in Washington, DC, Los Angeles and wherever else business calls.
